5-Month Book Club & Mentorship (Ages 14–18)
Thank you for your interest in Youth Monsterology! This program is a five-month
book club and educational mentorship program for young people from the ages of 14
to 18. It is designed to provide a fun, enriching experience for teens who want to
explore the idea of "monstrosity" in creative ways, connect with peers, and make their
voices heard in their communities.
I am a public scholar and educator. My PhD is in Childhood Studies, and I created and
facilitated a program much like this one for my dissertation study. It was a very positive
experience for everyone involved.
